Everyone in the music industry seems to have an “Elvis Story”… except me. I was hooked Rock and Roll the first time that Ricky and the Nelson family flashed across the blue-green screen of our blonde television in the late 1950’s. Music has been my passion ever since. My first professional venture into the music world was as partner in an independent retail record store in the early 70’s. That led to over a decade as owner/ operator of “That’s Entertainment”, a mobile disc jockey operation. Concurrent with my involvement in the music industry, I have also accrued over 20 years experience in the corporate world, specializing in Sales and Marketing with varied responsibilities ranging from management, national sales promotions, product development, corporate advertising, design and travel management. One of my greatest honors was being named employee of the year from over 10,000 candidates worldwide. With a successful career to buoy me, my life came full circle in 2001 when I made the decision to leave the business world and dedicate 100% of my time to the development of DIG Music LLC and the career of Jackie Greene. Since that time we have grown substantially, branching into 3 divisions; DIG Music, DIG Management and DIG Artist Services. We currently have 16 releases ranging from archival to local artists recordings. DIG Music provides an opportunity for me to utilize my music and business background as well as my ability to design and implement strategic goals and objectives to strengthen and support musical growth and recognition for our community. In short, DIG Music LLC fulfills my life-long desire to give something back to my hometown of Sacramento and contribute to the business of music, an idiom that has been the motivating force in my life.

My lifelong interest in popular and rock music began at the beginning.  I had the radio tuned to the new “Top 40” stations when “Hound Dog” was a hit in 1957.  I was only six years old.  Time spent at concerts and with my record collection led to nearly 20 years in rock radio.  I am currently an audio/video engineer and producer.  I have always loved the excitement of excavating a piece of music, snatching it from the jaws of oblivion.  I now find myself doing some of my own archive mining and I’m in a position to present unearthed musical gems to other fans.  Through DIG Music I hope to preserve what I consider to be an extremely important part of 20th century popular culture and history.
